After our soft launch last week, we are very excited to announce the launch of On The Square Surplus Café! A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for funding our project and supporting us through the development.
On the Square is a friendly, community takeaway open to all to come and enjoy. We use surplus food to cook freshly made, delicious meals, snacks and treats every Tuesday to Saturday.
Our aim is to feed bellies not bins! We collect perfectly good food that local businesses, supermarkets, and growers do not want and turn it into affordable, delicious meals to take-away. Our menu is ever-changing dependent on what we collect that day and our team get creative to think on their feet and create amazing dishes with the food provided. We also offer a community notice board and space for small group.

Our opening times are Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am – 3:00pm.
